Eagles of Death Metal Setlist

I was mostly there to cover London’s The Duke Spirit, who had already built up quite a fan following. Haven’t heard much from them in recent years (the group reformed in Oct 2014 for a one-off show), but I know singer Liela Moss and Toby Butler are sometime known as Roman Remains.
As for Eagles of Death Metal, you may remember hearing about them during the terrorist shooting incident in November 2015.

I had no idea singer Liela Moss from The Duke Spirit was such a fox, but there she was on stage with her black outfit and feathers and bleached blonde hair doing that hips-shaking thing on stage at the Fine Line Cafe in Minneapolis last night.
I find that a lot vocals-only singers tend to just move/dance while singing, but Moss was constantly using the tambourine, sticks, and variety of rattle instruments - and not to mention the occasional harmonica. She was definitely full of energy and had a lot of great showmanship on stage that kept me interested.
I actually enjoyed all their songs, starting off with "Send A Little Love Token" from their new album, Neptune. I thought "Into the Fold" and "Lassoo" sounded great live too, it was really too bad that the crowd of mostly younger folks was there for Eagles of Death Metal. I felt that their sound did not match, and I did manage to catch that they were originally going to tour in support of another band, Scars on Broadway, but it didn't work out.
Highlight of the show was during "You Really Wake Up The Love In Me" when she did a split on stage.
UPDATE: I just got an announcement that Eulogies to tour with Darker My Love and The Duke Spirit: Dangerbird Records' Eulogies are proud to announce support dates with Darker My Love and The Duke Spirit. All dates are below. The band's Tempted To Do Nothing EP is available now. The 4-song release is pressed on VinylDisc, a new format which combines CD and vinyl capabilities on one disc. The VinylDisc is packaged with an adapter, making the vinyl side playable on any record player. Tempted To Do Nothing is also available for download at all digital retail outlets.
Eagles of Death Metal came on stage fashionably late, but boy, were they ever sincere when singer Jesse Hughes said:
I wasn't sure if he was joking, but throughout the show he kept saying how much awesome it was for them to play in Minneapolis, and the audience was eating it all up, hanging on to every last words spoken. It's a full house tonight!! Hotdammit!!!!
The band was in full 70s getup. There are four band members, but I will have to point out that Jesse's mustache should qualify as a fifth member. They rocked out HARD to songs like "I Want You So Hard" and "Cherry Cola", where the whole audience sang to every tune.
Just to let you know how die-hard their fans are, prior to the band taking stage, I was talking to two girls, Nicole and Vanessa, who drove eight hours from Winnipeg, Canada, to stand near the stage and rock out to the band. That's hardcore, man.
Vanessa, during the concert gave Jesse her red bra and, of course, as rock n roll as he was, he placed it over the drum set after wiping his sweaty brow.
Incidentally, they kind of reminded me of Wolf Mother or Jet. Apparently the Australians love that cock and roll sound that I hear Eagles of Death Metal is doing quite well in Ozland.
PS, if your work hasn't blocked Twitter, I have been reporting concerts "as it happens" on twitter. I normally use my cell phone to text, but with this one, my iPod was doing most of the reporting.

[this is good] Liela Moss features on a few songs by The Brakes. She is such a lovely person off stage. Well, she said nice things to me so that makes her alright in my book.
The live blogging via twitter was awesome! You definitely should have mentioned the bra incident in your tweets!
