The College Music Journal’s annual showcase of rising talent in both music and film is a veritable wet dream for musicians and pop culture nerds alike.

Here are some more CMJ parties and shows:
CMJ officially starts Thursday, but there are a few pre-CMJ shows, including the Under the Radar CMJ Party, happening tomorrow! That's right, Wednesday, October 19th, at Public Assembly in Williamsburg. It starts at 12:30pm and, best of all, it is completely FREE (you must be over 21 yeas old).
There will also be door prizes (PRS Guitars, Sweet 16 amps, and Keds shoes).
The other party I am told is Terrorbird show at Cake Shop (with "free Nike T-Shirts For early birds"):
