Belle & Sebastian's Stevie Jackson just released his album, (I Can't Get No) Stevie Jackson, TODAY (October 24th) on Banchory Records. For about a week, they're allowing the entire album to be streamed - you can download the freebie tack "Man of God" for free.
The album is being released prior to his November tour dates, listed below:

MOONLIGHT TOWERS

You might know Little Steven Van Zandt as the guitarist in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band (and former co-star of The Sopranos). Apparently he's also the DJ on "Little Steven’s Underground Garage" on SiriusXM.
What you may not know is that he has been playing on his Underground Garage show, a band called the Moonlight Towers. Their third album is called Day Is The New Night and features two singles "Heat Lightning" and "The Easy Way Out".
Hopefully Lara made it out to see Moonlight Towers (along with Peelander-Z) at CMJ, we'll get a full report later. Their next show is in Austin at Hole in the Wall on November 4th.

Short, but sweet, I just have a tour announcement for Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers. They are on tour in support of their second album, Gift Horse, which is available now (I think only on digital format).
I'm glad to see that the first leg of their tour, they're playing with Minneapolis' own Chris Koza.
