Sally is back on W♥M Radio.
Sally is hung over from seeing A Popfrenzy Spring Delight at the Chalk-Horse Gallery in Sydney (11/03/12). Featuring three bands:
Day Ravies, Camperdown & Out, and the difficult to google Songs.
Vu caught some Australian bands in the USA, they were here for CMJ and decided to play some dates in America. Gold Fields were seen at Nether Bar, Minneapolis (10/13) and 7th Street Entry, Minneapolis (10/27).
We also covered San Cisco at Turf Club, St Paul (10/21) and Echo, Los Angeles (10/23).

What began many moons ago as a joke name for a tribute band has recently developed into the perfect way to spend an evening at our favourite bowlo/community club, the PBC!! For those unfamiliar with the work of Dayton, Ohio band Guided By Voices, needless to say there is plenty of evidence on You Tube, but for now I'll just concur with White House Press Secretary Jay Carney by saying Guided By Voices is the greatest rock and roll band of the modern era, in my humble opinion. Myself and a bunch of mates will be playing a couple of sets of GBV classics, with the evening to be opened by local songsmith Tom Warren in his solo guise as Telepathetic. More details as they come to light...the setlists, however, will remain a closely guarded secret until performance. Feel free to post suggestions below though!
