Oh Land Setlist

Nanna Øland Fabricius, other otherwise known for her middle name "Oh Land", recently played the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, last night, October 2nd.
San Francisco's Panic Is Perfect, who started the show, was incredibly upbeat and fun. The band was recently in town with The Hunts at the 7th Street Entry in June 2015.
During their first song "Build a Wall", one of the lead singers, Mike Hoffman went into the crowd. Sometime Hoffman would sing, sometime his long-time friend Jeremy Belzer took over vocals.
One thing is certain, the band was incredibly blown away that fans in the front were singing along to their songs. They also thanked local radio station Go 96.3 for playing their single "Go, Go, Go" - which they played midway into their 40-min set.
Danish singer Oh Land (currently residing in Brooklyn, New York), took the stage a little after 10pm. Her band was dressed for the occasion, which included matching white outfits with blue wigs!
It must've have taken them ages to arrive in Minneapolis, because the first thing Oh Land said was that it, "took three days of driving and two weeks of swimming across the ocean" to play for us.
"It's so cold here, we gotta dance tonight!" Oh Land said as they started with "Wolf & I". Their music was very dancey and upbeat, yet lyrically, they are sometime very depressing and dark. The depressing songs were obviously left off their setlist, but Oh Land decided to squeeze in "Love You Better", which is, by far, the slowest and saddest song on their set. It broke up the pace, but I'm glad they put in that serious song, between happier, fluffier, songs.
Of course, fans were singing along/singing back to their hit songs, "Renaissance Girls" and set closer "No Particular Order". Although the band was recently on tour with Of Monsters and Men, I can you that it was the right decisions on Oh Land's part to play these smaller clubs as headliner.
Sure, they'll play in front of a larger audience (thanks to OMAM's fans), but they'll miss out on the benefit of being up-close and personal with their fanbase (who are unlikely to pay top dollars to see a brief opener's set). We recently caught OMAM, and the opener only had a 25 minute set.
Based on strong audience participation and singalong, I can tell that both bands, Panic and Perfect and Oh Land, will likely include Minneapolis on their next tour itinerary.
Oh Land's latest album Earth Sick is out now on Tusk or Tooth. They also recently released a remixed EP called Head Up High (The Remixes), which came out earlier in March 2015.
Remaining tour dates:
