Ex Hex and Tweens are playing the same night over at the Triple Rock on this date... but it's unlikely we are covering that show.

Instead, why not support Marriages and Creepoid over at the Nether Bar (Mill City Nights)? We've previously mentioned that the Los Angeles band is actually a duo (Emma Ruth Rundle – vocals, guitar and Greg Burns - bass, synthesizer).

Marriages' latest Salome is out now on Sargent House. Creepoid's new album is Cemetery Highrise Slum, out now on Collect Records.

The Baltimore-based band Lower Dens is currently on tour for their latest record Escape from Evil (Ribbon Music). We previously saw singer Jana Hunter with Sharon Van Etten at First Avenue, Minneapolis (16 Jul 2014) and we described them as shy and sensitive music.

Brooklyn electronic duo Young Ejecta (Leanne Macomber and Joel Ford) set to open the show. The band's latest The Planet is out now on Driftless Recordings.

Jeff Burke used to be in a band called The Novice when he lived in Japan... now that he's back in the USA (in Texas), he started a new band called Radioactivity. Radioactivity's latest Silent Kill is out now on on Dirtnap Records.

Local duo Birthday Suits (Matthew Kazama and Hideo Takahashi) and Butcher's Union set to open the show.

At the Fine Line Music Cafe

Here are some bands stopping by the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis. In my experience the layout of the venue is not that viewable on general admission when the place is sold out or just really full. I recommend getting there early to be near the front of the stage to get a great view of the band.

I recently mentioned Elephant Stone, but at the time of writing they didn't have their tour dates in order. Well guess what? I have their updated touring information and it looks like they'll be playing with The Zombies in Canada and The Black Angels and Allah Las in the USA.

And yes, like most indie bands, they are touring of/around SXSW - so expect to see them there.
