We mentioned Chan's annual Christmas album last year with Everyday Holidays (Merry Bright Music)... and like clockwork, her third Christmas album, Christmas in the City, is available now. Already the album received praises from LA Times, The Boston Globe, and PIX 11 in NYC where Chan performed the single live on air.

Hungarian-born singer/songwriter János Horváth plays under the name Ultimate Yanó. His first Christmas single is called "Christmas Every Day", you can hear it via Soundcloud.
The song was inspired by the classic American wall to wall sound from the 60's (for example we love A Christmas Gift for You From Phil Spector (1963)).
Regarding the influence, Horvath said, "I wanted to record in this style for so long and by now I had the courage to do it, just for fun. People might think I'm just a dance artist but I'm more than that, I have lot of sides and I can easily find myself in many styles, but anyway I don't feel I should prove anything to anyone, but myself. I kept the lyrics as simple as possible, but I tried to avoid of being to cheesy, but I also put my thoughts into it. I hate that people can only love and go crazy in the Advent season, we should be kind to each other every single day and it only depends on us, I hope at least a few out there get my message."
