It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas--

With a chill in the air and snow on the ground, the holiday season is in full swing, meaning it’s almost time for the annual star-studded holiday concert, 101.3 KDWB's Jingle Ball 2018, Presented by Capital One®, taking place on Monday, Dec. 3 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Performers at this year’s holiday bash include: The Chainsmokers with special guest Kelsea Ballerini, 5 Seconds of Summer, Halsey, Bebe Rexha, Bazzi, Sabrina Carpenter, Kim Petras, Dinah Jane and Monsta X.

If that’s not enough entertainment for one night (or if you can’t afford a ticket) the Jingle Ball Pre-Party is a free all-ages event prior to the big show, happening down the hall at Rivercentre, in the Roy Wilkins Auditorium with doors opening at 4pm.

The lineup includes newcomers Madison Beer, Logan Henderson, Kim Petras, and Spencer Sutherland. Notable is the fact that Kim Petras is doing double-duty, performing both at the pre-party, and at the main event. The German-born LA-based singer is creating buzz with new EP Turn off the Light Vol 1 (Bunhead Records) and has over fifty million streams of her songs, having also just come off tour supporting Troye Sivan.

This year's official charity for 101.3 KDWB's Jingle Ball 2018 is the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. $1 of each ticket sold will be donated to the non-profit organization, which is dedicated to inspiring today's youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives.

This is a true story, but after I saw Peaches in September 2000, I had to see her again. Between the period of 2000 and 2002, we must have seen her at least four times! Every time she would appear, she had gained a bigger audience (and we started to recognize some of the same people at these shows!)

Peaches is currently tour in support of her latest album Rub (I U She Music).

Our favorite ladies Deap Vally (who we saw in June 2014 and June 2013) and Shannon Blowtorch (who we just saw in September 2014) will open the show.

We just previously caught New York's MS MR at Go Fest 2015 in August... and with only two months, the band is back. This upcoming show is also sponsored by Go 96.3... so they have a special deal, if you put in "GO" on the code line, your ticket price is only $9.63 (additional details on go963mn.com).

Opening will be Jack Garratt, who we just saw also in August 2015. With only eight written songs, Garratt had to carry the headlining burden, so he was incredibly nervous (and grateful!) for seeing so many strangers coming to see him play live. Hopefully, as an opener, the weight of a full-length show will be lifted.
