Mineral will be headlining the Turf Club on Saturday. Show up early to see
Tancred (aka Jess Abbott, formerly of
Now, Now).
We’ve seen Tancred a few times, the last time, we wrote, “Near the end of their 40-min set, as they were tuning their guitars for the finale song “Pretty Girls”, Abbot mentioned how her black turtleneck made her look like Steve Jobs. Then Vitali interrupted about how he overheard her saying how she was sweating through her turtleneck.”

Bayside is currently on their “Acoustic” tour, in support of their new album
Acoustic Volume 2 (out now on Hopeless Records).
"This album is strictly for the fans, more so than any other release or record," frontman Anthony Raneri shared. "We didn't want to just play them as they were written on acoustic guitars, we put a lot of time into re-imagining them. We wanted to give new life to some of the songs fans love, including some that have never been played live."

MATT AND KIM
The Great Northern Music on the Mall

thegreatnorthernfestival.com
Thanks to Target, The Minneapolis Foundation, and Sue McLean, the fun duo
Matt & Kim will be headlining the Great Northern Music on the Nicollet Mall for FREE.
Show up early to get a great spot and party with the Brooklyn-based indie pop duo.
About The Great Northern
The Great Northern presented by Target is an annual 10-day winter celebration in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. It brings together three longstanding festivals, the City of Lakes Loppet Ski Festival, the Saint Paul Winter Carnival and the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships, along with original programming, all highlighting Minnesota at its wintry best.
“At The Great Northern, we believe in being out in the cold and snow and spending winter in winter. We know that Minnesotans won’t let snow or cold stop them from seeing a great live outdoor show,” said Cat Beltmann, Executive Director of The Great Northern. “We saw how much people loved the live music on Nicollet Mall during the Super Bowl, and we look forward to producing an event that brings that same level of energy and excitement to downtown for one night.”
