Broken Social Scene, that band consisting of three thousand band members, including Feist, Amy Millan (Stars), Emily Haines (Metric), Brendan Canning, etc., well it looks like Jason Collett of BSS lent his musician skills on the free track, "Sundowner", from Danielle Duval. The track is a taster from her debut album Of the Valley, to be released October 11th.
As you may have also guessed with the BSS reference, that she is from Canada, so her tour dates (listed below) are within the country. All tour dates are with Royal Wood:

JOAQUIN DIAZ

Although this master accordionist was originally from San Pedro de Marcoris, Dominican Republic, he's actually currently based out of Montreal, Canada.
Diaz will be bringing his Afro-Caribbean rhythms of the DR to the US with an upcoming tour. His last album released is called Mi Corazon (My Heart) and was released in 2006 via Nuits d'Afrique Records, but chances are, it was probably never released in the US - so be sure to grab a copy when you see him.
PS, Dave will be covering the Minneapolis show for W♥M.
BALLAKE SISSOKO & VINCENT SEGAL

These guys are from France, but I thought I'd include them here, because they are doing some Canadian dates. Plus, we aren't marketed with many Canadian bands, so...
What I can tell you about this duo is that Ballaké Sissoko is known for his kora-playing skills and that Vincent Segal is the one with the cello. It's a good combination, the West African instrument and the European classic bow instrument.
Their album, Chamber Music came out on Six Degrees Records, and their tour starts on September 17th. See details below:
