Los Angeles' Babes is not to be confused with New Orleans' Babes or Wisconsin's Babes or Denmark's Babe or Glasgow's Babe or Minneapolis' Babes in Toyland. As you can see, they suffer from too many similar-sounding or identical name. It's very confusing.

Again, Los Angeles' Wand is not to be confused with Canadian band Wand (who was forced to change their name) or Denmark's The Wands or Japan's Wands. They also suffer from same-name/similar-sounding name.
Anyway, the group is back with their third album (and their Drag City debut) 1000 Days. We previously caught the band in April 2015 when they were promoting Golem (In the Red Records).
The entire record was recently streamed in its entirety on local radio station The Current.
Cherry Cola and Bug Fix will open the show.

INSANE CLOWN POSSE

Recently, Insane Clown Posse was in the news because they had to cancel their San Diego appearance because the venue banned ICP's drink of choice: Faygo. The venue was concerned that the drink (which are traditionally sprayed and doused all over Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope) would damage the venue.
The band wrote, "Well, it aint an Insane Clown Posse show without Faygo so that means we’ve been left with no choice but to call off the show … as stale as f*** as that is."
Expect plenty of Faygo at the 'gathering of the Juggalos' show (all wearing clown makeup, etc.) at First Avenue this Thursday. We've seen the Juggalos out in force before, it is pretty scary.
ICP's latest The Marvelous Missing Link: Lost is available now.
Special guests P.O.D., Young Wicked, Open Minded, and DJ Paul to open.
