Legendary shoegazing band Ride will be headlining Mill City Nights next Tuesday, September 29th. After the British band broke up in 1996, founding band member Andy Bell went on to play bass for Oasis. Of course, Oasis broke up and Bell moved to Beady Eye (basically Oasis without Noel Gallagher), but we ultimately know what happened to Beady Eye....

So this is really the perfect time for Ride to reunite! Fans who never caught the band in the 90s will finally get a chance to hear Ride live next Tuesday.

Besnard Lakes to open. We previously caught the Montreal band at Triple Rock in 2013, when they were touring in support of Until In Excess, Imperceptible UFO (Jagjaguwar).

We caught Stereolab's Lætitia Sadier on tour in 2012 at the defunct 400 Bar. Recently, we were lucky enough to have caught her with Helado Nego in March 2015... but she didn't do any of her songs.

That's about to change, as Sadier will be headlining Icehouse next Tuesday with Deradoorian.

We've seen Angel Deradoorian a few times now. She recently released her solo debut album The Expanding Flower Planet on Anticon Records. As we previously mentioned, the former former bassist and vocalist for Dirty Projectors has been compared to Björk.

New Zealand brother/sister duo Broods (Caleb Nott and Georgia Nott) is in the US on a headlining tour, after a successful sold out US tour with Sam Smith. They are touring in support of their Capitol Records debut album Evergreen.

The first leg of their tour will feature Mikky Ekko (RCA Records) as support, while the second half of their tour will feature Swedish R’n’B artist Erik Hassle (Record Company TEN/RCA).

We caught Mat Kearney in 2013 at the University of Minnesota, in support of Young Love. Kearney is back, this time for his latest Republic Records album Just Kids, which came out last month, February 24th, 2015.

What is exciting about this "Just Kids Tour" is that he is bringing along Virginia's Parachute and Tennessee's Judah & the Lion (who you may recall impressed us when they came to Minneapolis November 2014).

Los Angeles rap rock band Hollywood Undead is currently on tour in support of their fourth studio album Day of the Dead (which is coming out at the end of the month March 31, 2015, via Interscope Records).

The thing with this band is that all of the band members (Charlie Scene, Da Kurlzz, Danny, Funny Man, J-Dog, and Johnny 3 Tears) wear their own unique masks, based on the common hockey goaltender design..... which is actually perfect for Minnesota, as we do love our hockey.
