I've previously seen She Keeps Bees at the 400 Bar in 2010, and noted, that singer Jessica Larrabee "sings like Chan Marshall."

Well, the duo are back with a new single called "Owl", taken from their forthcoming album Eight Houses, set for release on September 16th via Future Gods Records.

The Allah-Las are music fans, having met each other working at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles. We caught the band last year and described them as "sounding heavily like Abkco-era Rolling Stones, Zombies and Animals."

Speaking of Animals, their latest single has a b-side called "No Werewolves", and you can recently hear "Buffalo Nickel" on Soundcloud.
