Berlin's Voodoo Princess (Bavarian-based singer Melanie Brüggemann and her producer Thomas Nehrenberg) has a debut album called Shaken Not Stirred (Major6thLab).
The title obviously reference the cool swagger of James Bond. The band described Shaken Not Stirred as "It’s like Motown kissing Rock’n’Roll, heavily pregnant by James Bond, with a slight touch of jazz and elegant 60s flair!”
But don't call it a concept album, Thomas Nehrenberg notes, "Melanie, my partner and I, were at all times aware of how we wanted to make the album. We have a nearly identical private taste in music and very similar views on the aesthetic and technical terms and soundscapes. None of us has the slightest interest to base our music on mainstream radio and format patterns. Of course, we could... , but we don't want to! On purpose! We might be a tiny bit stubborn and obstinate in that regard!”

Twenty-time (20 times!!) Latin Billboard Award Winner Prince Royce recently debut his English-language single entitled "Stuck on a Feeling" featuring Snoop Dogg.
The single, available from RCA Records, produced by Jason Evigan (Maroon 5, Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo) is Prince Royce's first foray into the mainstream music market. It will be followed up by his first English-language album, to be released next year on RCA Records.
Although known for his nine #1 Spanish/Latin songs Royce is actually from The Bronx in New York. One thing is for sure, his 28 million Facebook followers will only grow as he expands into English-language territory.
According to Billboard, Prince Royce is "the most successful new Latin acts in recent years.”

Fun fact, this band actually went by the name Prince. Of course, the real Prince probably threatened them with a lawsuit. Prince is litigious on a dime, he has no problem suing his fans, suing babies dancing to his music. So anyway, Prince (the band) is now currently billed as The Punk Band Currently Known As Prince.
Love or hate it, they are playing Prince's hometown (Minneapolis) tomorrow, December 11th, with Lemuria and local Farewell Continental.
NPR described Lemuria's music as “mini-suites, hopscotching from one melodic figure or time signature to the next with a playwright's sense of structure."
