'Tis the season of giving, below are some music gifts.
LOW

Finally, Low are on an xmas tour and have released a four-track free live EP at their website. The EP was recorded at St. Catherina Church in the Netherlands city on January 22, 2009. The band was joined by a full choir, organ and percussion for the performance.
Since the band is from Duluth, Minnesota, I've seen them live before. They were the first band, at the time, that I've seen to have brought a chair on stage to sit down (the audience were all standing up). Needless to say, it was a pretty mellow show.
Anyway, tour dates:
TIM BOOTH & JAMES
timbooth.co.uk ♥ wearejames.com
Tim Booth would like you to know that he recently launched his new website on December 8th. As a gift to his fans, you can get a free demo MP3 of "Buried Alive" from his, yet another, solo release.
In the meantime, his band, James, is doing quite well, mostly satiating their existing fan by doing tour dates with special VIP Soundcheck passes for those lucky enough to win. To enter, send your answer, name, and location to competition[a]wearejames.com before the deadline of 12 noon on the 18th of December. You'll need to answer the following question:
The first winner will be selected at random from the correct entries received by 12 noon on the 9th. Each subsequent drawing will take place at the same time on the day of the corresponding concert, and the prizes are as follows:
EDWARD GUGLIELMINO
edg.ug
Speaking of forthcoming and gifts... for the whole month of December, you can grab Edward Guglielmino's live record Live In Cori's Backyard for free at edwardguglielmino.bandcamp.com
I read that new songs to watch out for includes "Margaret", "Swam In The Water" and "Lately Speaks The Shadows". These tracks will likely appear his forthcoming album, for a mid-2011 release.
Don't really know much about Guglielmino, other than his name's really hard to spell and that he's from Brisbane, Australia. And you know we like Australians.
