New Zealand's Salad Boys is currently touring the USA, in support of their debut album Metalmania. The boys (singer/guitarist Joe Sampson, bassist Ben Odering, and drummer James Sullivan) recently teased us with their new music video for "First Eight". See it on youtube.com.

1: What is your favorite Fast Food on the road? Do you have any menu hacks you would recommend?
All of them are soooo good, and so worth it absolutely every time, were big fans of the burger and the frie (chip) combo.
2: Have any of current band members ever worked at a Fast Food Joint? Was there a moment that you said "f*** this. I'm starting a band"?
It was actually backwards we all met for this band and subsequently now we all work at burger restaurant.
3: If you had to let a chain restaurant use one of your songs in a commercial, which song would you let use and which restaurant would it be?
It would be all of them cos they're all doing such wonderful work. We'd let them pick because we don't wanna infringe on their creative branding cos it's hard work being cute
I’m particularly fond of that last answer. Don’t think I’ve ever heard the word “cute” used as a descriptor for a fast food joint.
