Nova Scotian folk/Americana crooner David Myles just released his holiday album It's Christmas, the follow-up to his US debut So Far.
As a special exclusive, the album's single "Santa Never Brings Me a Banjo" is available as a free download on Folk Alley who called the song "a humorous take on the idea that we don't always get what we want - even at Christmastime." Head over to folkalley.com for the download.
"I came up with this while I was raking the leaves," Myles told Folk Alley. "I was laughing out loud while I was coming up with it. It reminded me of a Roger Miller song, which was a great feeling. He's one of my favorite songwriters ever. We even heard from Weird Al after we released the video! That's what I call a career highlight!"

This year's A Las Vegas Christmas (Volume 4) will feature 14 tracks performed by an all-star lineup of more than a dozen of Las Vegas' best-loved entertainers, including Reckless In Vegas, Clint Holmes, Zowie Bowie, Cook E Jarr, The Scintas and more. The album is available now for $10 and proceeds will benefit the Neurofibromatosis Network.
