THE TWILIGHT SAD
twitter.com/thetwilightsad
The Twilight Sad will be heading out on a Spring 2013 tour in support of their semi-recent album No One Can Ever Know - The Remixes album from FatCat Records. They will be playing with Frightened Rabbits, although the San Francisco and Santa Cruz shows will feature only Twilight Sad as headliner.
Interestingly enough, both bands will be "stripped" back to a three piece setup, as noted by Twilight Sad: "We're very happy to announce that we will be supporting our good friends Frightened Rabbit on their West Coast dates in North America. During a night in the pub with FR we both agreed we'd love to tour with each other again and they suggested we come do some shows with them as a stripped back 3-piece which they have seen us do back home in Scotland many times before. We agreed, so that's what we're doing. These stripped back shows will give people in North America the opportunity to see the band in a different way. We're hoping it will showcase how important our songwriting process is and having a good song to begin with before adding the production is to our band."
All dates with Frightened Rabbits except for SF and Santa Cruz:

CHORDS OF TRUTH
chordsoftruth.com
South Carolina's Chords of Truth is putting out a double remix album on March 12th, 2013.
The brainchild of Chords of Truth, Jason Garriotte, described the collection: "This collection consists of a double disc compilation album of some of the best and most diverse remixes from all the producers involved in this project. Plus, several producers have created a full 7 song remix EP reflecting their musical styles in remixes of the original acoustic versions. With the whole collection mastered by my good friend and producer Jeffrey Joslin."
