Daryl Dragon, aka “The Captain” of Captain and Tennille has died today (January 2nd) to renal failure, according to NBCMiami.com. The Captain was 76.
Captain & Tennille was known for such hits like “Do That To Me One More Time” and their signature song “Love Will Keep Us Together”. Unfortunately, love did not keep them together, as we previously wrote about their divorce in early 2014.
The 2019 year is just starting, but already this list will grow to about 600 names, as seen in our previous Musicians who died in 2018, Musicians who died in 2017, and Musicians who died in 2016.
Below are more recent deaths - for the full death list: Musicians who died in 2019.
