BLACK STONE CHERRY

Black Stone Cherry will release their fifth studio album Kentucky on 1st April 2016 via Mascot Label Group. The record was named after the band's home state... and said to be "back to their roots" record.
Frontman/guitarist, Chris Robertson comments “We are beyond excited to bring ‘Kentucky’ to you! Since the release of our debut we have wanted to go back to the studio where it all began and it finally happened! The original studio owner/engineer, all of the great equipment and BLACK STONE CHERRY have been reunited for what I feel has been the most unique album we've ever made. We took it back to where it started and something magical happened! These new songs are the heart and soul of who we were in 2006 and who we've become. There is something very special about these songs and I cannot wait for y'all to feel them!”

BLACK TUSK
blacktuskterror.com
Savannah's Black Tusk recently added additional North American tour dates for 2016.
In anticipation of their forthcoming Pillars of Ash LP (January 29th, Relapse), will hit the road starting January 22nd with Royal Thunder and Bask. After only a few weeks of rest, the band will head out with Holy Grail starting February 23rd. See entire tour schedule below.
The long tour is an indication that Black Tusk is one of the hardest working band in rock in the past decade. After four full-lengths, numerous splits and EP's and thousands of shows under their belts, the punk/metal power trio was faced with an immense and unexpected tragedy in late 2014 when founding bassist/vocalist Jonathan Athon passed away after a motorcycle accident in his hometown. Now, as a testament to his profound and lasting legacy on the heavy music scene, the band are releasing Pillars of Ash, their final recordings with Athon, on January 29th, 2016 via Relapse Records.
