I wrote about Mount Eerie (aka Phil Elverum) about four years ago and mentioned that they were originally called Microphones. Changing the name was understandable, considering the modern Google search thing.

Anyway, Mount Eerie's second album, Ocean Roar, is coming out September 4th, 2012.

Ocean Roar is said to be a companion album to his previous album, Clear Moon, which was released in May 2012.

BEAR MOUNTAIN mybearmountain.com Bear Mountain's "Congo" can be heard on The Fader. This Vancouver band's debut album, XO, was released digitally earlier this month (August 7th). Swedish fans can look forward to seeing them at Strand in Stockholm on 9/28.
