Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave, has died at the age of 52. According to telegraph.co.uk, they noted that the police are investigating his death as a possible suicide.
Cornell was last seen in Minneapolis in October 2015 when he was touring in support of his solo record Higher Truth. Combined with his successful reunion tour for Soundgarden (many of the dates were sold out), it didn’t make sense to us that there was even a hint of suicide as the local Detroit police suggested.
We will have to wait to find out what the The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office will say when they determine the cause of death.
