I was lucky enough to have caught Lucero at their sold out show at the Varsity in 2009, and I mentioned it in my review that basically I was blown away at all their dedicated fans, who have seen the band multiple times and was coming back for more.
If you've never seen the band live before, you have two options: they are touring in September (see dates listed below) and second, their first-ever live album Live From Atlanta is due out this August 12th via INgrooves Records.
The double disc album captures all the element of a typical Lucero live show: country-punk-folk sound and plenty of audience sing-along songs!
Live From Atlanta is a collection of 32 songs, all recorded live over three nights at Atlanta's Terminal West. It is available as a double-disc CD, but fans may want to get a hold of the four-disc vinyl. Live From Atlanta is available for pre-order now.

New Jersey's Screaming Females is known for their amazing live shows, and teaming up with legendary Steve Albini, they recorded their first live album during the two sold out shows at the Hideout in Chicago.
The very professionally shot video (incorporating seven cameras) and audio recording direct from the soundboard mix, was released in April via Don Giovanni Records.
The highlight of their energetic show featured frontswoman Marissa Paternoster crowd surfing with blood running down her chin!

The show was recorded at lower NYC's Rockwood Music Hall, where producer Jim Greer noted that "Live In NYC has the feel of a long-buried bootleg, a timeless sounding performance that might just one day prove to be a treasured document of an artist with a powerful voice."
