Steve Martin Caro, the co-founder and original singer to The Left Banke has died at the age of 71. Their biggest hit song, “Walk Away Renee”, influenced many bands, including Belle & Sebastian who referenced the line in their song “Piazza, New York Catcher” (we we previously wrote in July 2007).
