STEREOLAB
+ Bitchin Bajas
First Avenue
Sat 10/05/2019 (8pm/$30/Sold Out)

Can you believe it ? French band Stereolab is back! You guys know we’re big fans, but the original band broke up (or went on hiatus after their keyboardist Mary Hansen died in 2002). It’s now been ten years since the band officially broke up in 2009. Naturally, the First Avenue show in Minneapolis has sold out.
The new lineup features original Tim Gane on guitars, Lætitia Sadier on vocals and keys and Andy Ramsay on drums. Joining them will be Joseph Watson and Xavier Muñoz Guimera. We’ve been following singer Lætitia Sadier’s solo career closely, and we’re really happy to see her back in Stereolab.
The new tour is in support of remastered album reissues, which includes expanded tracks and rarities.
Bitchin Bajas to open. The trio (Cooper Crain, Rob Frye and Dan Quinlivan) was last seen at the 7th Street Entry on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2018.
