HEARTLESS BASTARDS

Heartless Bastards is back on tour, in support of their fifth album Restless Ones (Partisan).

You may recall that Lara reviewed their The Mountain album, and described it as "It’s an album of conflicts, and perhaps fittingly, there’s a strange disconnect that happens after repeat listens—a sense that [Erika] Wennerstrom hasn’t quite decided where to reach (this uncertainty is engaging on an intellectual level, but makes for a jarring listen)."

Craig Finn, singer/guitarist/front man of The Hold Steady, will open the show. The last time we saw The Hold Steady at the Weesner Amphitheatre in 2014 and at Midway Stadium in 2014, we can tell that the band has a massive Minnesota fan base.

Sibling band The Hunts will be at the 7th Street Entry next Monday, June 29th, in support of their debut album Those Younger Days, out now on Cherrytree Records/Interscope.

Their music is decribed as folk-pop built on layered harmonies... something that is common with close siblings: in this case twin sisters Jenni and Jessi and their five brothers Josh, Jonathan, Jordan, Justin, and Jamison.

San Francisco's Panic Is Perfect will open the show.

New York's Quarterbacks is on tour... they are listing Hexagon Bar in Minneapolis next Monday, June 29th, but I couldn't find any details on the Hex's website.

The band's latest self-titled album came out earlier this February 2015 on Team Love records.
