SUPER HI-FI
superhifimusic.com
Into reggae? How about a whole Christmas album of reggae tunes by Super Hi-Fi called Yule Analog, Vol 1 (A Very Dubby Christmas).
Described as a "a Christmas album for people who hate Christmas albums", Yule Analog, Vol 1 (A Very Dubby Christmas) is the sophomore album from the Brooklyn-based five piece band.
Bassist and bandleader Ezra Gale explained about the idea for a Super Hi-Fi Christmas album, "As soon as I started digging into these songs I realized that while we've all maybe heard them too much in our lives, they're all beautiful melodies. So I really got into writing arrangements that brought something new out of them while being respectful at the same time."

K THEORY
ktheorymusic.com
San Francisco-based trap/hip-hop trio K Theory is releasing a free track every day starting December 1st until Christmas time, naming the event "25 Days of Kristmas".
Please note that these are not actual Christmas/Holiday songs, but just digital gifts in the form of remixes and rarities...
I'm spotlighting the first song "Way Too Young" because their second song title is not radio friendly. "Way Too Young" is about the time K Theory was in Hawaii and one of the members, Dylan, got a rare and deadly bacterial infection called leptospirosis.
Dylan recounts his ordeal of the three-week medically induced coma:

Dylan recounts his ordeal of the three-week medically induced coma:
"Little did I know that I would almost die four times in that coma and come out having one of the best song-writing years of my life. My biggest regret of nearly dying was all of my unfinished demos and mass unreleased catalog that we have as K Theory, so I thought what better a way than to give out 25 tracks during [December] this year to commemorate our work, share the love of free music, and unload some of these gems collecting dust on our hard drives."
