Irish singer/songwriter James Vincent McMorrow is gearing up to release a deluxe edition of Post Tropical (Vagrant), an album which NPR hailed "interesting, surprising, and fascinating," and Pitchfork claimed it "takes sithering orchestration to breathy, emphatic heights."
Opening up for this Thursday show is Los Angeles duo Moors. The band just released their self-titled EP this week (October 27th) via Haven Sounds.

In support of their new album Vikings, due out early 2015 via DCD2/Warner Bros. Records, New Politics will be in town at the Varsity Theater on Thursday... as part of Skype's One to Watch concert series, featuring also Bad Suns and Somekindawonderful.
Talking about the Danish trio New Politics' album on DCD2, label head Pete Wentz had this to add, "New Politics were part of our first signings to DCD2 on the relaunch and we're super stoked that they'll also be putting out the first full-length on the label. Our summer tour with these guys was so great and I love the new single. I can't think of a better band to rep what DCD2 stands for."
