Sure, I said I have stopped buying Blizzard games because of their online requirements. For a long time, I refused to buy Diablo III because you have to have an online connection to play the game. The Blizzard people were saying that the online requirement was for gaming and their marketplace, but let's just call it for what it is: it's DRM and their fight against piracy.
About a year ago, Blizard released their console version of Diablo III on the PS3, and it did not have the online requirement! Eager to play the game, I did purchase the game. They make great games, I just won't support them if they keep implementing these stupid DRM policies.
I did beat D3 and had a good time with it, although that final fourth act, I felt like I was way overpowered with my various Legendary items.
It's been a while now, but I've recently started playing Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition on the PS4, which basically is a combination of the original Diablo III game and its expansion Reaper of Souls into a single game.
There's a lot of new improvements since my experience on the PS3, for example Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition there's really no load time between various dungeons! The non-load time is the biggest improvement I've noticed.
Video game play is 1080p, and it looks really smooth (except for some stutter when there were lots of enemies on the screen).
There's the new Nemesis, which I experienced and killed, but the rest of the "new" stuff, I have not gotten to because I'm still fairly new in the game. That includes the Paragon system (which you need to be level 70 to use) and "The Last of Us" rift, which I have not found.
Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, when it comes down to it, is the version that Diablo III should have been.
