Day Four (March 13) of SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Temples at Pyscfest. Having to stand behind the stage and fence. Couldn't wait for a two block line for a potential chance of getting in....
T-Rex meets Syd Barrett from Pink Floyd. Get a groove and keep it going.... Lots of buzz on these guys and deservedly so.
Temples' debut album, Sun Structures, is out now on Fat Possum. After SXSW, Temples will set out for their U.S. tour, stopping by St Paul's Turf Club on Thursday, April 24.
We just mentioned Wytches last night at The British Music Embassy, but here they are at Austin Psych Fest's Levitation Austin.

The Wytches are currently based in Brighton. The three-piece surf-psych band are currently signed to Heavenly Recordings (Partisan Records in the U.S.) with "Gravedweller" as a free digital single.
Casual Sex from Glasgow. Somewhat like Franz Ferdinand with a gimmick of makeup and whacky guitars; they didn't play straight up solos. They are another band who like chorus on their guitars...
Casual Sex recently 'bumped' into legendary Jarvis Cocker (talk about some bad puns) at SXSW and they are promoting their EP 12" The Bastard Beat, out now.
