Although the Dandy Warhols recently toured in 2013 for their anniversary of Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia, but I saw them originally saw them for the original Thirteen Tales... in 2000.
I was rather obsessed with their keyboardist Zia at this time. I have their first album, and there is a picture of her topless, so I was hoping for that kind of action - but of course, that was not the case at the show. I was also on the wrong side of the stage anyway, so even if she decided to bare it, I couldn't see anyway.
I've been told, at that time, that the Dandies were always in town (Minneapolis) because the singer Courtney Taylor-Taylor was seeing someone in "Minnesoter". Based on seeing the band a few other times, I would have to say maybe there's some truth to the rumor because it seems like they are always here.
The notes I have for their 18+ show on October 17th, 2000, at the Quest was:
Check out some other Dandy Warhols live coverage: The Dandy Warhols at First Avenue, Minneapolis (06/09/13), Dandy Warhols at Harvest, Sydney (11/17/12), and The Dandy Warhols at The Fine Line Cafe, Minneapolis (10/28/10).

The Dandies were great! They had their s**** together!! Wow were they tight! I was totally impressed. Anyway, great show. Their first record isn't bad as well, but I wanted to hear 'Boys Better', but the last song is great - it's like forty minutes long.
Not a lot of details, but at least we knew they didn't play "Boys Better". I'm pretty sure they did their signature song, "Bohemian Like You", otherwise, it would have been a massive disappointment.
