We had the best time at this year's Rock the Garden 2013, so we're very excited to announce that next year's Rock the Garden will extend over two dates: June 21st and 22nd!
As usual, this will likely sell out so get your tickets when they go on sale. If you don't know what Rock the Garden is, this is the annual Summer festival from The Walker and 89.3 The Current. What's exciting about 2014 is that this will be the first two-day format in the event's history.
What does this mean? Chances are, more bands will be showcased and also possibly enough tickets for everyone, since the festival is spread over two days instead of one. Plus, more is always better.
Doug Benidt, Associate Curator, Performing Arts at the Walker comments, “With an informed audience, an in-tune partner, and a picture perfect location already in place, a two-day Rock the Garden is a soundly logical next step. It’s an exciting evolution for this beloved event and illuminates a simple truth… the only thing better than live music is more live music.”
