O'Brother just played the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis last night, September 3rd, in support of their latest album Disillusion.
The Atlanta-based band took the stage fairly early, just a little prior to 10 O'Clock. Leader singer and guitarist Tanner Merritt look intense and serious throughout their set, indicating that the band's music is on a deep emotional and personal level.
Songs from their slightly hour-long set consisted of music from Disillusion, including "Ascension" and "Disillusion", which seems to go hand in hand with its theme of darkness and anger.
Also, worth noting is that O'Brother brought their own light setup. This gave them creative control over setting mood lighting and tone, and sometime to cool effects.
