Critically acclaimed Los Angeles-based Lord Huron are about to set out on tour to support Alt-J on their U.S. tour this September (see full touring schedule below).
Singer Angeleno Ben Schneider and company (Mark Barry, Miguel Briseno, and Tom Renaud) are currently in the U.K., where Brody caught the band at their appearance at The Great Escape, taking place this week in Brighton.
You may recall that we previously covered their 2012 appearance at the tiny 7th Street Entry, when they just released their album, Lonesome Dreams.
W♥M contributor Ellie wrote about the 2012 show: "The whole show was every bit of atmospheric. Hearing 'The Stranger' shook all of my senses. It was the first Lord Huron song that I was introduced to, and it has this ironic placement in my life. It was the perfect ending to their set--and every piece of Lonesome Dreams was perpetually thrilling. You can't sum up the feeling of being in a moment where you're both coherent and out of touch; comfortably in another state. "
We are looking forward to seeing Lord Huron again, when they come back to Minneapolis to a sold out show in September.
