Read More Young Man really is a young man. The youth (named of Colin Caulfield) is a singer/songerwriter, who Esquire magazine called "dorm-room-pop whiz kid" and AOL's Spinner as "wise beyond his years."…

Young Man and The Weeks just played the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis last night, April 15th.
The opener last night at the 7th Street Entry was the indie band The Weeks from Jackson, Mississippi. While proudly sipping on some Jameson, they introduced themselves and said, “…It’s really fucking good to be here.” They kept the show lively with upbeat songs, some sweet guitar riffs, and had a fun stage performance.
The song “Buttons” off their 08’ Comeback Cadillac album had the audience moshing and dancing to every beat. It seemed to have the best response with the crowd.
The band seemed to be having a good time performing some of their older songs along with some new songs (from Dear Bo Jackson; to be out April 30th via Serpents and Snakes Records.); one of them being “Candy Bars”. During the set, the lead singer danced around and hung from the ceiling.
The band is continuing their tour in the US till mid-June and then is off to the UK to tour with Kings of Leon.
The Chicago based band Young Man followed up The Weeks with a complete change of pace. The show was pretty laid back and toned down. They started out the show with the song “It’s Alright” and the show stayed focused on the vocals and guitar.
Young Man continues their US tour with Maps & Atlases through early May; look for his latest album, Beyond Was All Around Me, out now on Frenchkiss Records.
