Just some topics we covered:
■ News: The Temptations singer Damon Harris has died aged 62 (passed away February 18th) after losing his battle with prostate cancer. Harris was known for being the youngest member to join group at the age of 21.
■ Concert: Toro y Moi. Audrey reported that the show at the Fine Line Music Café on February 20th was sold out.
Not a whole lot of interaction with the audience, but lighting was fantastic. Certainly the audience didn't care as they danced away.
Toro Y Moi's third album, Anything In Return, is out now on Carpark Records. Tour ending next week:
■ Upcoming show: Mika. Winner of the Brit Award's British Breakthrough Act 2008, the British pop singer will be doing a series of intimate North American dates (see full date listing here).
■ Song of the show is Mika's "Celebration".
■ Concert: Toro y Moi. Audrey reported that the show at the Fine Line Music Café on February 20th was sold out.
