She is doing a brief tour through the mid-west, starting at Minneapolis' 400 Bar ...

Alyssa Graham stopped by the 400 Bar in Minneapolis, last night, October 18th.
Paul Michell opened up the show. Michell is a local young singer/songwriter, who played songs off his Wake Me Up EP.
He seemed really comfortable with his keyboard, although I got the impression he didn't play live much. He ended his set with the title track off his EP, "Wake Me Up."
New York singer/songwriter Alyssa Graham and her husband, Doug Graham, are starting off their fall tour, starting with the 400 Bar. This is probably inside baseball, but the Grahams might check in today (October 19th) at the bar again before they head out to Iowa. I may swing by if my show for The xx ends early.
Anyway, the two Grahams were doing double acoustic guitars with Doug also doing vocal harmonies and backup vocals.
Surprisingly they did a lot of new songs, they sounded like "Cathedral Past," "Sweet Susan (What Compels You)," a song about a haunted house owned by Marty Hawkins, a song that goes "If you're in New York, then I'm coming home," "Lonesome Child," a song about "Jericho, Mississippi," and they ended their set with another new song, "A Good Man."
If you get a chance to listen to the podcast, you can hear Alyssa Graham explaining "A Good Man." We also briefly touch on the difference between UK and US shows, their fascination with the Mississippi River, and Echo vs Lock Stock & Soul.
Alyssa Graham is currently on tour. After their last stop is in New Orleans, they are going on a houseboat in the swamp to write and record new music for an upcoming album, pending for release in 2013.
