Here's a blast from the past: BoDeans.
This heartland/roots rock band formed in Wisconsin in the early 80s. By the 90s, they had several top 40 hits mainstream and adult contemporary hits.
BoDeans are currently on tour for their latest release, American Made, which just came out last month (June 12th).
The band is currently on tour to promote the album, so expect them to play their songs about the beauty of the night in "All the World" and other struggles of a blue-collar Midwesterner from the new album, plus their early hits: "Only Love", "Good Things", or "Closer to Free."
I will be covering them for July 28th, at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley. I don't normally go outside of Minneapolis for shows, but this looks like a lot of fun. We are also covering Bouncing Souls (First Avenue) and Best Coast (Cedar Cultural Center), also on July 28th, so hopefully it will all work out.
