Just a silly little interview with Kate from Crush on Kristi. Apology for the poor audio, this was taped live in front of the 400 Bar and the music portion were lifted through an analog line from myspace. If I get a better audio source, I will update the download.
Here's what went down:
Origin of the name "Crush on Kristi"
Third big gig (4/21/12)
Unknown songs on their setlist
Attempt at answer "favorite female artist" question
How the band met
Eight of the ten artists covered have played at the 400 Bar.
Song of the show "You Were Right About Everything" (Erin McKeown)

PS, embarrassingly enough, I do own Stars' In Our Bedroom After the War, but rarely listened to it. Despite the fact that the band gave the album away (and I'll admit to downloading the album), I did go out and support the band by purchasing the CD (with the DVD package). I saw the band for their Set Yourself On Fire tour when they played the 400 Bar, but didn't see them for the Bedroom tour at the fancy Pantages Theatre. What a difference a year make, being down and dirty and up close with Torquil Campbell and Amy Millan… to dressing up and being faraway while the ushers tells you where to sit.
