Christopher's been following South Africa's Die Antwoord since 2010. I guess they are huge right now, as it is their third time on the cover of Rolling Stone South Africa magazine!

I think he's still based out of Denmark, after all, he was awarded the "Best Male Singer" at the Danish Music Awards in 2007.

The Touré-Raichel Collective are two superstars, Malian guitarist Vieux Farka Touré and Israeli Idan Raichel. Their album, The Tel Aviv Session, comes out March 27th on Cumbancha Records.
Their US/Canadian tour starts in April:

Speaking of Israel, Shtar is described as a "cross between the Gorillaz, Beck, and Snoop Dogg", which sounds pretty awesome.
Their debut album, Infinity, is coming out March 6, 2012, via Shemspeed Records. In the meantime, they're playing a few dates below:
