Read More So, what exactly is Katy Perry suggesting when she's singing her hits, "UR So Gay" and "I Kissed a Girl" from her album One of the Boys? She's definitely capture the hearts of young boys & girls everywhere, that's for certain.

Yes, Katy Perry is one of my guilty pleasure. While I wasn't that into her singles from Teenage Dream (including "California Gurls" and the repetitive "Firework"), her new single, "The One That Got Away", was a hit for me. The actual single came out in September, but there were two "digital exclusive" songs that came out soon after.
I got a chance to listen to December's special remix, of "The One That Got Away", featuring B.o.B. If you haven't guessed, the remix is a little upbeat with spots of B.o.B. (Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr.) rapping before and between Katy Perry's singing.

I did like the new rap part, but I just can't picture B.o.B. and Katy Perry making out in his Mustang to Radiohead.
The new acoustic version of "The One That Got Away", which appeared this week on iTunes is receiving a lot of positive feedback from her fans.
Opposite of the dancey version, the quieter acoustic version of "The One That Got Away" does a great job bringing out Perry's voice, sans audio gimmickery. Because the tone of the song is now much sadder, it works for the song.
Anyway, the song will tide you over until Perry comes back with a new album this year hopefully.
