Read More Games I am playing a few games right now, I'm working Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage from a birthday gift. I'm doing poorly, only on Chapter 4.

If you are wondering where I've been, the answer might be a little game called Skyrim that just came out last Friday.
Unlike Oblivion, the difficulty does not scale to your character (this is the reason why I gave up playing Oblivion, because there's no sense of accomplishment when you level up and so does everyone else!)
I've sunked about twenty hours into the game, and I think this is possibly the best game I've ever played.
My brother asked why I didn't buy the Xbox version of Skyrim, because I had more disc space on my Xbox machine vs my PS3, but if you look at the value-for-value, the PS3 version is the superior choice.
If you get the Collector's Edition of Skyrim on the PS3, you're given a Bluray disc of the "Making of" feature, so you can watch it in 1080p. The Xbox version, you get a DVD (480p standard video).
The actual game itself, because they have a higher storage on the Bluray disc, it contain higher resolution texture images - which means background just looks better. You can compare the game play video with a side-by-side video.
At the end of the day, I'm sure people will buy it for their prefer choice of platform. To me, it doesn't make any sense to buy the Xbox version - however this might all change when Xbox 720 or Xbox 2 will come out in 2012. Hopefully the next generation of the Xbox will contain a larger-capacity disc (or at least a Bluray player). My theory is that Xbox will never nclude a Bluray disc player, but instead develop a crappy "HD-DVD" version for games.
Anyway, If you don't have a system, I would recommend PS3 over Xbox. There are several factors, but the key points I would tell people is that: (1) Bluray player - upgradeable to 3D video, (2) You don't need to pay $70 a year to watch Netflix, or Hulu, (3) It supports more digital formats - same AVI files will play on the PS3, but not on Xbox!
Believe me, I have both system, and if I had known all the limitation of the Xbox, I wouldn't have bothered with that crappy system.
