'Tis the season to be spooky: weirdo filmmaker, David Lynch, is responsible for some of my favorite films ("Eraserhead", "Blue Velvet", and "Mulholland Drive") and television show ("Twin Peaks"), is taking a new direction with his debut solo album, Crazy Clown Time, to be release on November 8th via Sunday Best Records/[PIAS] America.
I'm not that surprise that he's venturing into "music", if you follow his career, he's into photography (mostly obsessed with smoke and light and darkness), writing (Catching the Big Fish in 2006), and music (mostly soundtrack for his films).
You can grab a free title track from his website, davidlynch.com. Lara tried to describe the song: "I don't know how to describe it, but I'm very uncomfortable." Expect nothing less.
Pre-order Crazy Clown Time at amazon.com or itunes.
