I have a couple of announcements I wanted to make, first is that Ron Lasalle will be singing at the China Club in New York on January 13th (that's this Sunday). The event is Broadway musical called THE TWELVE and is described as:
...Where Jesus Christ Superstar leaves off. In this high-energy rock show, each one of Christ's apostles is represented with a tribute to a different classic-rock icon such as: David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, U2, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, and Janis Joplin.
Any comparison to Jesus Christ Superstar should be good, right? AND IT'S FREE ADMISSION. Just in case it's sold out, I suggest you reserve by calling Makayla: 845-353-2407.
You can read more details about this show at broadwayworld.com.
I'm also getting a lot of press releases. Like over 5 announcements a day and it's a lot of work shifting through all the emails. It gets worst if you miss a day or two, now you're backlogged!
I know I sound like a baby, but I'm more incline to make announcements about bands we've already covered, so it's really important to get at least an article on W♥M early.

Brush up on the whole Lavigne/Rubinoos thing on W♥M: News: Did Avril Steal 'Girlfriend'? and then listen to the differences on Line up the Fly. Also worth checking out is I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend and/or Girlfriend.
Our Cristina sent in this link about the settlement out of court between Avril Lavigne and The Rubinoos. I've already expressed my discontent with this case and against the Rubinoos.
I can understand why it was settled, Lavigne's camp would have had to spend a ton of money to defend themselves and they calculated that it would be just cheaper to pay them off.
I think it was obvious from the start that Tommy Dunbar and James Gangwer were just greedy guys. Boo to the 'noos.
Remember when I said, way back, that I needed a new HD for my music? I finally broke down and bought a 500 gig Western Digital External. It was on clearance for $129, which I think I should've waited for it to drop below 100.
My first impression of the new HD (its name is WHM) is that it's a little smaller and compact versus my previous Externals: Mulder, Scully, Belle, and Sebastian. The external case design is sleek black and has a vertical blue strip that blinks top/bottom if it's busy accessing information. I have to say that I didn't like how the smooth black finish made it easier to leave fingerprints on it :/
Anyway, It took over 5 hours (possibly less, it just seemed like a very, very long time), but I've finally managed to move over about 250 gig of music to the new home.
Here's how to have a different icon for each drive:
- Download or create an ICO file, save it drive you want to display the image. If you have a PNG image - go to converticon and covert it to an ICO file.
- Create a text file called "autorun.inf" and save it to the drive you want to display the icon.
- Text of autorun.inf should contain:
[autorun]
icon=youriconsname.ico - Hit refresh (F5), if it doesn't show the icon, don't worry - it may take a restart.
You are free to download our W♥M Icon. I'm sure there are tons of free icon websites out there, just do a quick search.
