I had this really stupid dream last night. Apparently my mind's been into W♥M Podcasts (a new one will be uploaded tonight as soon as I finish editing it), because I was doing Podcast in my dream.
There's a few of us in a room, Mel, EL, Ryan, and Cristina (East Coast) and I had these funky big headphones on, making it really difficult to hear the other W♥M people talking.
We were talking about Shed Seven and that they were still together (please see Cristina's article).
At one point in the conversation, Mel got up and said, "I have to leave!" and storms out of the room. Everyone was confused and silent. Then I jokingly said, "Well that's Shed One". Everyone laughed (in my dreams I'm the funny one).
I thought I read somewhere, a long time ago, that Shed Seven got their name from some sort of joke about some band with 11 members and were told to shed 7 of them.
As it turns out, I was found out that they mentioned in an interview on XFM, "The Breakfast Show", that Rick Witter said that they were on a train and saw some Sheds with one of them having the number 7 painted on the roof[2]. This was verified by Wikipedia.
They're currently on tour... and one of the very few Britpop bands that are still around.
