I love this album! I was reminded of it recently from this new ATT commercial ( I think it's an ATT commercial, but I'm not sure). Some guy whom I guess is a teacher busts out a suitcase of pastels and starts drawing a class room on the white walls. It looks pretty neato.
Anyway, "Silver Lining" is playing in the background. I've never seen these guys live but I saw them perform on Late Nite w/ Conan O'Brien, and it was fantastic.I would say that I hope to see them soon, but Beulah disbanded and played their last show in '04.
Beulah came about into my life via KFSR 90.7 (That's pretty much how I found new music). I heard this song and
asked if anyone knew who it might be. I was too lazy to call in and ask, but someone suggested it might be a band called "Beulah". Well, they were wrong. It wasn't Beulah, but if they hadn't suggested the name, I would have never gone out and bought the album. Silly eh? I'm glad it came about and I hope everyone else enjoys the songs I selected.
Well, they were an awesome band with a gentle but rockin' sound. (heh, rockin') I don't know how to describe the sound. Some songs are soft and mellow, and some are .. well.. rockin'. Alright, that's all I can think of to write about. Hope you enjoy!
