Some music news (viewable by neighborhood):
► The NY Times is running a superlong article on Jonathan Coulton: Sex, Drugs and Updating Your Blog (published May 13, 2007). I don't know what the NY Times policies are, but I think eventually this article will expire and you will no longer be able to access the article, unless you're a paid member - so read it while you can. See also: Jonathan Coulton - Baby Got Back.
► We♥Music CD vol 1 link had expired, here's a new link: sendspace.com/file/f7iz4l. This is the last time I'll mention this. I'm kind of working on volume 2, and will probably use lulu.com to get a squarebound book (at cost to Lulu). I've never used them before, but I've only heard great reviews, so I might check it out.
► Of course, my favorite music label, EMI, made news again via: Amazon.com to Launch DRM-Free MP3 Music Download Store with Songs and Albums from EMI Music and More Than 12,000 Other Labels. Amazon and iTunes are selling DRM-Free MP3s, which good news for everyone who's buying digital music. Unfortunately from the 12,000 labels, I don't think they include the big three (BMG/Sony, Warner, and Universal). Before you get too excited, eMusic have been offering DRM-Free music since the beginning :).
