When our family first got Cable Television, one of the programs I was consistently watching when I get home from high school was Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the British show with host Clive Anderson. Improv comedy was something new to me back then, and I absolutely ate it up. How can they just make up that stuff live? After a few months, I started to understand there was really a method and a structure to their program. Maybe the magic wasn’t there now, but I still have very fond memories of those early Clive Anderson episodes.
I stopped following the show, but I know they made a US version, hosted by Drew Carey. Currently the show is hosted by Aisha Tyler, which I’ll catch on TV occasionally from time to time.
My favorite comedians from the Whose Line Is It Anyway were Ryan Stiles and Greg Proops… and guess what? They dynamic duo will appear live in their tour called Whose Live Anyway show, this April 8th, 2022, at the Fitzgerald Theater in St Paul. The other two comedians are Jeff B. Davis and Joel Murray. This looks like such a fun show, especially because I know that Stiles and Proops are going to be hilarious.

I’ve seen the Everything is Terrible video compilation before, they’re mostly really funny clips… saved from personal home videos or forgotten films.
The theme for this year is “Kidz Klub”, so it’s sounds like children made all the videos for this upcoming show at the Amsterdam Bar & Hall on Tuesday, March 15.
Excerpt from We♥KC - February 1-15 Upcoming Shows (Kansas City / Lawrence KS):
Now this might be the ideal remedy for any Covid blues we’re all having- the video and performance art collective has unearthed thousands of forgotten DVD & VHS tapes aimed at yesterday’s youth to bring you their most mind-melting movie to date.
Watch in awe as all colors of the rainbow join forces to destroy the tyranny of adult civilization! A feature film, live performance (with likely life-size puppets) and need we say, the unexpected, make this potentially the most talked-about show of the new year.
