KINS

Melbourne, Australia (by way of Brighton, UK) band Kins hits the Turf Club in Minneapolis tomorrow March 6th, for an intimate show in support of their debut self-titled release (on East City Records).
The quartet originally formed around a collection of home-demos by frontman Thomas Savage and just finished a short tour supporting fellow Melbourne act, Courtney Barnett. After re-locating to England, they gained a record contract and rhythm section to complete the band, and have been gathering buzz ever since.
An atmospheric, downtempo sound with “themes of confusion, guilt and nihilism”, this is clearly a band on the way up, and a chance to perhaps say, you saw them “when”.
Locals tiny deaths and The van Gobots round out the Minneapolis lineup.
