We saw Blitzen Trapper in Oct 2015 said, “Blitzen Trapper were the headliners last night. I had heard a little bit of these guys before last night but it was always just background music for me. It's a bit too calm for my liking. That being said, they completely blew me away last night. Blitzen Trapper is a five piece alternative country band from Portland, Oregon. These guys have been around for quite some time. Their first studio album came out in 2003 and they have released seven more since then. Their newest album All Across This Land came out just a couple of days ago so they seemed to focus on playing songs from that album with a few older songs thrown in.”

The band is known for their high-energy live shows, as seen in Oct 2015, when we said said, “South Philadelphia-based Low Cut Connie (aka Adam Weiner) closed out the night. Weiner told us on stage that he was a school teacher until the age of 31, when he started his band. He never thought that one day he would be playing his songs around the world. Most of Low Cut Connie’s fanbase was because they’ve seen the band play live, as we mentioned when we first saw him play at Rock the Garden in 16 Jun 2018: “Low Cut Connie blew us away.”

Wind-Up Records and TKO are breaking through the cold and sending out bands Flyleaf, Adelitas Way, Framing Hanley, and Fit for Rivals on the road, to fill that winter gap of less rock touring activity during the colder months.  First launched in 1996, the festival has previously featured performers such as Sublime, System of a Down, Incubus, Seether and Shinedown, and the tour returns this year with an all-new package.

Headliner Flyleaf is turning over a new leaf of its own.  Best known for songs from their first two albums, the Texas band now features vocalist Kristen May (formerly of Kansas City band Vedera) and is out in support of its 4^th album, Between the Stars (Loud & Proud Records).

Las Vegas based Adelitas Way is in support of last year’s Stuck (Virgin Records) and recent EP, Deserve This, with a full-length follow up, expected later this year.

Nashville’s Framing Hanley, Jacksonville, FL’s Fit for Rivals, and a rotating roster of additional support acts, make the evening a full night of heat inducing rock.

Burger Records' Burgerama 2013 headliner The Growlers will be headlining the 7th Street Entry on February 26th. They are out touring in support of their newest album Chinese Fountain. Although the SXSW dates are left mysterious blank, expect the band to probably show up down in Austin when the time is right.

Broncho set to open the show, a band we saw in 2013 and also in 2014. Last year, Broncho supported punk rock icon Billy Idol, that must have been the highlight of their year.
